Television footage captured a protest atop the Australian Parliament building on Thursday, where demonstrators voiced support for Gaza.

Four individuals clad in dark clothing were seen on the roof of the building, displaying black banners, one of which bore the message, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free."

Speaking through a megaphone, one protester condemned the Israeli Occupation's actions as war crimes.

"We will not forget, we will not forgive, and we will continue to resist," declared the protester.

Police and security personnel advised against approaching the protest area near the building's main entrance, according to a Reuters witness, though there was no immediate effort to disperse the protesters.

James Paterson, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, addressed the incident on X, describing it as a "serious breach of parliamentary security."

Video footage showed Australian police apprehending one of the protesters from the rooftop of the parliament building.
