Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) conducted three raids Monday morning on Mount Toura in the Jezzine region of southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of over 700 goats, according to Anadolu Agency.

The “Israeli” aircraft strikes destroyed a goat barn and the shepherd’s house, the Lebanese outlet, National News Agency (NNA), reported. Despite the devastation, the Syrian shepherd working on the farm was later found unharmed.

The Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture condemned the attacks in the strongest terms, describing the raids as a “flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international law.” The ministry highlighted the brutality of the strikes and the severe impact on local livestock and agriculture.

“These aggressive actions by the Israeli enemy are unacceptable and constitute a blatant infringement on our land and people,” the ministry stated. It further called for international intervention to hold “Israel” accountable for its repeated violations.
