The Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD) warned about the dangers of direct sun exposure and the risk of dehydration during peak sun hours.

The JMD urged the public to exercise caution due to the rising temperatures, which also increase the risk of wildfires in forested areas.


Temperatures Thursday till Saturday:


Temperatures will rise again on Thursday, according to the JMD, reaching 4-5°C above the average for this time of year. 

In a statement to Roya, the JMD mentioned that the weather will be hot and dry in most areas, and extremely hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds that will be occasionally active.

At night, the weather will be moderately warm over mountainous heights and relatively hot in other areas, with light northwesterly winds.

Additionally, the JMD indicated that on Friday, the weather will be dry and hot in most areas, and extremely hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds that will be occasionally active and may stir dust in the Badia regions.

A slight decrease in temperatures is expected on Saturday, with relatively hot weather in most areas, and hot weather in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds that will be occasionally active and may stir dust in the Badia regions.
