The Spanish Premier Pedro Sanchez urged NATO allies to show the same unity on Gaza as they have on Ukraine. During a NATO summit in Washington, he stressed the importance of consistency in their political stance to avoid accusations of double standards.

Sanchez emphasized that if NATO supports Ukraine to uphold international law, they must do the same for Gaza. He called for the same unity and consistency in addressing the Israeli Occupation's actions in Gaza as they do with Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

He pointed out that it is crucial for citizens to see that their leaders maintain a consistent political stance without double standards. This statement came during the NATO 75th anniversary summit, which concludes on Thursday.

Western nations have faced criticism for hypocrisy in continuing to support the Israeli Occupation's offensive in Gaza while condemning Russia's alleged atrocities in Ukraine.

The Israeli Occupation's nine-month offensive resulted in over 38,000 deaths and at least 88,000 injuries, with a tight blockade creating famine conditions throughout Gaza.

The Israeli Occupation also targeted schools, hospitals, and houses of worship, all civilian facilities protected under the laws of war, further drawing international condemnation.
