Rafa’a Salameh, the commander of Hamas’ Khan Younis Brigade, has been officially declared dead in yesterday’s strike on Khan Younis in Gaza – according to the “Israeli” army.

In a joint statement, the Shin Bet and the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said that Rafa’a Salameh, who’s one of the closest associates of Al-Qassam Brigades Chief Mohammad Deif, was killed in the strike on south Gaza.

His death is a “significant blow to the military capabilities of Hamas”, added the statement.

Salameh was with Mohammad Deif at the targeted site, but the IOF has yet to confirm the killing of the latter.
