“Israeli” security forces have blocked all main roads into the settlement of Eilat as they investigate a possible security incident. 

The police advised the public to avoid the area until further notice – in a statement cited by the “The Times of Israel”. 

Military reinforcements have also been deployed to the area, and the alert level has been raised.
