UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini revealed on Wednesday that “Israeli” forces have bombed at least eight schools in Gaza over the past ten days, six of which belong to the agency.

Lazzarini stated on the "X" platform, "An almost daily occurrence. At least eight schools hit in the last 10 days, including six UNRWA schools."

He added, "The war has robbed girls and boys in Gaza of their childhood and education."

Lazzarini pointed out that "The blatant  & constant disregard of international humanitarian law continues unabated. All rules of war have been broken in Gaza."

He stressed, "Losing our common humanity must not become the new norm," and reiterated his call for an immediate ceasefire.

The post was accompanied by images showing the destruction of a UNRWA school due to “Israeli” bombardment, despite the fact that it was crowded with displaced people seeking shelter.
