Microsoft announced on Friday that the primary cause of the global outage has been resolved, though residual effects are still impacting some services.

In a post on their account on the "X" platform, Microsoft stated, "We're aware of an issue with Windows 365 Cloud PCs caused by a recent update to CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor software."

The wave of global outages on Friday caused delays and issues at airports in Europe, the United States, and Australia.

The disruptions affected trains, travel companies, media outlets, various stock exchanges, and railway networks in many countries, as the widespread outages led to IT system shutdowns worldwide.
