The Israeli Occupation escalated its aggression on Gaza for the 288th consecutive day, intensifying airstrikes and targeting civilian areas. Continuous bombings hit various regions in the Gaza Strip, affecting all aspects of life.

The International Court of Justice advocated for Palestinian self-determination, stating that Tel Aviv had no right to displace Palestinians or settle on their land. The court condemned Tel Aviv's settlement policy as a violation of international law, calling for a reevaluation of the Israeli Occupation's presence in occupied Palestinian territories.

The court affirmed that Palestinians, recognized under the Oslo Accords, had the right to self-determination. It deemed that Tel Aviv's actions post-1967 occupation violated this right.

On October 7, Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military wing, launched the Al-Aqsa Flood operation in response to the Israeli Occupation's violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation initiated a military operation named Iron Swords against Gaza, leading to hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries, and the destruction of numerous buildings and infrastructure.

The death toll among the Israeli Occupation forces reached 682 since October 7, with 326 killed since the ground operation began on October 27. According to the Israeli Occupation army, 4,184 soldiers had been injured since the aggression on Gaza started, including 620 in critical condition, 1,051 with moderate injuries, and 2,512 with minor injuries.
