The Eastern Military Zone thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs via a drone from Syrian territory into Jordanian territory – a statement by the army said just now. 

"The Border Guard forces in the Eastern Military Zone, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, detected an attempt by a drone to cross the border illegally from Syrian territory into Jordanian territory. Engagement rules were applied, and the drone was brought down inside Jordanian territory,” a senior military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army stated.
