Israeli Occupation army radio reported that the perpetrator of the Netiv HaAsara attack was a Canadian national.

The attacker arrived in the "Israeli" territory on Sunday as a tourist, rented a car, and drove to Ashdod in the morning before reaching Netiv HaAsara, where he attempted the attack.

According to Hebrew media, two settlers were injured in a stabbing incident at the entrance of Netiv HaAsara near Sderot, around the Gaza area.
