Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced today several operations targeting “Israeli” forces in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement on their official Telegram channel, Al-Qassam said its fighters engaged with an “Israeli” force at “point-blank” range inside a building in the Al-Furqan neighborhood of Tal Al-Sultan, west of Rafah, inflicting several casualties in the process.
An “Israeli” engineering unit was pumping explosive gas into a tunnel in Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah – after which Hamas fighters detonated a part of the tunnel, leading to a massive explosion and casualties among the engineering unit’s rank.
Al-Qassam fighters also shelled an “Israeli” command center at Netzarim with short-range “Rojom” missiles of 114m caliber, in addition to targeting “Israeli” forces northeast of Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza with mortar shells.
In a “martyrdom” operation, according to a statement, a Merkava 4 tank was targeted with a Yassine-105 rocket and a “Shawaz” improvised explosive device in Al-Furqan neighborhood of Tal Al-Sultan, west of Rafah.
An “D9” military bulldozer was also hit with a Yassin-105 rocket in the same neighborhood.
In a joint operation with the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, Al-Qassam bombarded “Israeli” forces northeast of Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza with mortar shells.
