The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that “Israeli” airstrikes targeted a school sheltering displaced persons in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza, resulting in at least 30 fatalities.

The ministry added that over 100 individuals were injured, with many in critical condition.

The “Israeli” military claimed that "the air force targeted a Hamas command and control complex concealed within the Khadija School complex in central Gaza."

However, Hamas leader Osama Hamdan vehemently denied these claims, accusing the Israeli Occupation of lies and fabrications.

He described the attack on the Khadija School as part of an ongoing genocide perpetrated by “Israel”.

Hamdan stated, "We have agreed to serious proposals from the mediators, but the occupation refuses to halt its aggression. The occupation is trying to pressure the resistance by escalating its military operations."
