Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stated that the war on Gaza has lasted longer than it should have.

During a panel discussion on the two-state solution in Spain on Monday, Safadi said the Israeli occupation violated international humanitarian law and criticized the “Israeli” government for downplaying the importance of the two-state solution.

He expressed concern over recent developments, emphasizing that the Israeli occupation fails to meet its obligations under any agreement.

Safadi also noted that Jordan has significantly contributed to providing aid to the Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, Safadi met with the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs José Manuel Albares in a meeting that discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, and efforts exerted to stop the “Israeli” aggression against Gaza.

The two also discussed ways to deal with the ensuing humanitarian catastrophe, the protection of civilians, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to cover all parts of the Strip.
