Gold prices in the local market increased by JD0.60 per gram on Thursday, according to the daily rate issued by the Jordanian Jewelers Syndicate (JJS).

The selling price of a 21-carat gold gram in jewelry stores has risen to JD49.60, while the buying price is JD47.70.

The selling price of a 24-carat gold gram has also increased to JD57.10, with the buying price reaching JD54.60.

The price for an 18-carat gold gram remains steady at JD44.40 for selling and JD40.90 for buying.

Additionally, gold futures surged to an all-time high on Wednesday night, climbing by about USD 40 to reach USD 2,492 per ounce.
