The assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran reignited discussions about “Israel's” alleged involvement in a series of high-profile killings in Iran.

The Israeli Occupation is suspected of several previous assassinations within the country, according to a report by the Middle East Eye.

- Massoud Ali-Mohammadi (January 2010) -

Massoud Ali-Mohammadi, a professor of particle physics at the University of Tehran, was killed by a remote-controlled bomb attached to a motorcycle.

While some suspected local opposition factions, Tehran's chief prosecutor attributed the assassination to "the CIA and Mossad" due to Ali-Mohammadi's involvement in nuclear science.

The US dismissed these allegations as "absurd," but Iranian authorities arrested several suspects linked to “Israeli” Mossad.

- Majid Shahriari (November 2010) -

Ten months after Ali-Mohammadi's death, nuclear scientist Majid Shahriari was killed in a similar fashion.

A bomb attached to his car by a motorcyclist resulted in his death, while his wife and driver were injured.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad condemned the attack as the work of the "Zionist regime" and its allies.

- Dariush Rezaei-Nejad (July 2011) -

Dariush Rezaei-Nejad, an academic, was shot by two men on motorcycles in July 2011.

“Israeli” intelligence sources suggested he was involved in nuclear detonator research, a claim Iranian authorities rejected.

Despite “Israeli” denials, Rezaei-Nejad’s assassination followed a pattern attributed to Mossad.

- Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam (November 2011) -

Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam, a key figure in Iran’s missile program, was killed in a blast that Tehran described as an "accident" during munitions transfer.

However, reports linked the incident to Mossad, which “Israel” neither confirmed nor denied.

- Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan (January 2012) -

Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, a supervisor at the Natanz uranium enrichment plant, was killed by a magnetic bomb attached to his car.

Iranian officials blamed “Israeli” agents, adding another name to the list of suspected Mossad targets.

- Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah (November 2020) -

Also known as Abu Muhammad Al-Masri, Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, a senior Al-Qaeda operative, was reportedly assassinated by “Israeli” agents in Tehran.

His killing was carried out with US collaboration, according to sources, but remained officially unacknowledged by “Israel”, Iran, and the US.

- Mohsen Fakhrizadeh (November 2020) -

Renowned as the architect of Iran’s military nuclear program, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was gunned down using a sophisticated computerized machine gun.

This device, reportedly smuggled into Iran and reassembled, is believed to have been operated by a Mossad team remotely.

- Hassan Sayyad Khodaei (May 2022) -

In May 2022, senior IRGC officer Hassan Sayyad Khodaei was shot and killed by gunmen on motorcycles.

Tehran blamed “Israel” for the assassination, with intelligence sources confirming that “Israel” had notified the US of its involvement.
