Palestinian resistance groups launched Friday extensive rocket barrages from the Gaza Strip which caused air raid sirens were triggered in the Kiryat Malachi settlement and other areas near Ashdod, according to a Roya correspondent.

This came following the funeral of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Qatar after he was assassinated by the Israeli Occupation in Tehran.

The Israeli Occupation media noted that a rocket fired from Gaza landed in an open area in Kiryat Malachi, approximately 30 kilometers from Gaza.
