CNN reported on Saturday, citing American officials, that a potential Iranian attack on “Israel” could be imminent, possibly occurring in the coming days.

Axios further reported that the Biden administration believes Iran will retaliate against Tel Aviv within days in response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. 

“Israeli” officials confirmed that Tel Aviv is bracing for this anticipated Iranian response, which is expected to resemble the April 13 attack. 

An American official added that the response might be broader in scope and could involve Hezbollah.

US intelligence reportedly received clear indications of Iran's intention to retaliate against Haniyeh's assassination. 

American officials explained that Iran and its proxies may take days to coordinate and prepare their attack on Tel Aviv. 

In preparation, the Pentagon and US Central Command are deploying American military equipment in the Gulf, Eastern Mediterranean, and the Red Sea.

Additionally, a senior “Israeli” official indicated that “Israeli” intelligence anticipates a large-scale missile attack from Iran.
