At least 25 Palestinians have been martyred and dozens injured following an “Israeli” attack on two schools in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, which were sheltering thousands of displaced Palestinians in western and southeastern Gaza.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed it targeted "elements within Hamas command centers" located at the Hassan Salameh and Al-Nasr schools in Gaza City.

The Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson said that “the occupation is committing a massacre in every sense of the word” by targeting the Al-Nasr and Hassan Salameh schools in Gaza City.

The spokesperson also reported that 80 percent of the martyrs and wounded are children.

Due to the ongoing aggression against Gaza, the spokesperson confirmed that the civil defense system is severely depleted and is operating with minimal resources.
