Ceccon criticized the village's accommodations, citing the lack of air conditioning, high temperatures, and poor-quality food. "There’s no air conditioning in the village, it’s hot, and the food is bad," he stated.

In response to these issues, Ceccon took matters into his own hands by opting to sleep on the ground in a Paris park, seeking some rest after a long day of competition.

Ceccon, dubbed "the world's most attractive swimmer" by the media after Italy's bronze medal win in the men's 4x100-meter freestyle relay, joins a growing list of athletes who have expressed dissatisfaction with the Olympic Village’s conditions.
