Starting Thursday, the Jordanian national taekwondo team will begin their quest for an Olympic medal at the Paris 2024 Games.

The team kicks off their Olympic journey tomorrow and will conclude their participation on Saturday, with hopes of securing one or more medals.

Taekwondo athlete Zaid Mustafa will open Jordan’s campaign on Thursday, facing Brazilian Edval Pontes in the Round of 16.

Juliana Al-Sadiq and Saleh Al-Sharbati will compete the following day,

Friday. Al-Sharbati, ranked fifth in his weight class, will battle Brazilian Ferran Rodriguez, while Al-Sadiq, ranked third in her weight class, will face Fiji's Navuga Naitasi in the same round.

Jordan’s taekwondo participation at the Paris Olympics will wrap up on Saturday with Rama Abu Rab, ranked ninth in her weight class, competing against Moroccan Fatima Zahra Abou Fares in the Round of 16.
