His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan underscored the urgent need to end the ongoing aggression in Gaza, asserting that halting the war is crucial to prevent further regional escalation. 

In a discussion with Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides centered on the escalating violence in Gaza and the imperative for international intervention.

Both leaders agreed on the necessity of intensifying global efforts to secure an immediate and enduring ceasefire in Gaza. 

His Majesty highlighted the importance of Cyprus and the European Union's (EU) efforts to promote a comprehensive de-escalation and renewed his call for the international community to enhance humanitarian responses in Gaza. 

He also emphasized the necessity of working towards a political horizon for a just and comprehensive peace based on a two-state solution.
