The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) is working in close coordination with the Pentagon to prepare for a “series of scenarios” in which Iran and its allies could launch an attack or a “series of attacks” against “Israel” – per an “Israeli” defense officials cited by ABC News.

The official outlined one red line for “Israel”, that could severely increase tensions if crossed, which is an Iranian attack that could harm or target “Israeli civilians.”

"We don't have an interest in a war or escalation," they said, "but we won't tolerate attacks on our citizens."

The coordination with the Pentagon is “very critical” – the official added.

"What we are seeing is the US. taking a very clear position in their actions and their messaging, and it matters.”

The US has recently moved fighter jets and two destroyers to the Middle East as an increased security measure and deterrence against the expected Iranian response.

The “Israeli” defense official said these redeployments by the US military are “unprecedented in scale and scope”.
