The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, issued a statement Sunday regarding a shooting that took place in the North Jordan Valley, within the occupied Palestinian territories, which resulted in the death of an Israeli Occupation settler and the injury of another.

Hamas described the shooting as a "heroic operation" and asserted that it was a natural response to the "brutal crimes and genocide" being committed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the Gaza Strip.

The statement particularly highlighted the ongoing massacres targeting civilians, including the recent attack on Saturday morning at the overcrowded Al-Tabeen School, which was sheltering displaced people. That attack reportedly claimed the lives of over 100 people.

Hamas emphasized that the ongoing and escalating operations in the West Bank send a clear message that the Palestinian people will continue their resistance against the violations and crimes of the IOF and settlers.

The movement declared that despite the atrocities in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, such actions will not deter the Palestinian youth and the resistance from carrying out their duties to make the occupation and its settlers pay for their "fascist crimes."

Furthermore, Hamas called upon the rebellious youth in the occupied West Bank to continue their confrontations with the IOF and settlers. They urged them to resist the ongoing raids and incursions into towns, villages, and refugee camps across the West Bank and to escalate their heroic operations until the last soldier and settler are driven out of the holy land.
