A series of traffic incidents marred the roads of Jordan on Wednesday and Thursday, resulting in one fatality and several injuries, according to the latest report from the External Patrols.

On Wednesday evening, a 13-year-old boy tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle on the Zarqa-Azraq Highway.

Emergency services and specialists responded promptly to the scene, and necessary procedures were carried out, as confirmed by the traffic report aired on Public Security Radio.

In a separate incident, a truck carrying vehicles overturned approximately 24 hours earlier en route to Amman.

The driver sustained injuries and was subsequently transported to Al-Nadeem Hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, the report highlighted another accident on the Zarqa-Mafraq Highway, where a collision resulted in four individuals suffering moderate injuries.

Emergency teams cleared the debris from the scene to restore normal traffic flow.

The External Patrols have issued a public safety reminder in response to these incidents. Drivers are urged to remain vigilant, adhere to speed limits, and avoid distractions such as using mobile phones while driving.
