Eleven children suffering from cancer left the Gaza Strip for Jordan to receive medical treatment, according to a report by the Palestinian Information Center on Thursday morning.

Earlier, Princess Ghida Talal, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCC), confirmed that more cancer patients from Gaza will be welcomed at the center.

Jordan began evacuating cancer patients from Gaza last November to provide necessary medical care at the KHCC, following the destruction of hospitals in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).

Asem Mansour, Director of the KHCC, stated that providing treatment to cancer patients coming from Gaza is the least that can be done for the people of Gaza and that the center aims to accommodate dozens of cancer patients.
