The New York Times (NYT) reported that Tel Aviv exhausted its military options in its war on Hamas in Gaza.

Citing high-level American officials, the newspaper revealed that “Israel” has reached the limits of its military effectiveness in Gaza.

“A growing number of national security officials across the government said that the “Israeli” military had severely set back Hamas,” NYT wrote. “But would never be able to completely eliminate the group.”

They also pointed out that “Israeli” forces are now operating more freely within Gaza.

However, the primary remaining objective for “Israel” is to secure the release of approximately 115 captives, a goal that cannot be achieved solely through military action.

American sources emphasized that a lasting resolution to the aggression would require diplomatic efforts.
