The Israeli Occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has entered its 315th consecutive day, marked by ongoing heavy bombardment and horrific massacres across various areas of the region. Gazans are anxiously awaiting the dawn of a ceasefire, hoping for an end to the relentless violence that has persisted since October 7th.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the mediators' meeting in Doha, aimed at ending the aggression in Gaza, is ongoing and will continue on Friday. According to the ministry's spokesperson, Majed Al-Ansari, efforts from Qatar, Egypt, and the United States are steadfast, with mediators determined to push forward towards a ceasefire that would see the release of detainees and the entry of substantial humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Al-Ansari referenced the statement issued on August 8th by the leaders of Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, calling for an end to the prolonged suffering of Gaza's residents and detainees, and the establishment of a ceasefire agreement based on principles proposed by President Biden in May 2024 and supported by UN Security Council Resolution 2735.

Meanwhile, senior Hamas official Hussam Badran stated that the movement views the ongoing negotiations in Doha regarding the ceasefire and prisoner exchange from a strategic perspective, aiming to end the aggression on Gaza. He emphasized that any negotiations must be based on a clear plan to implement previously agreed-upon terms.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the ongoing aggression has reached 40,005, with 92,401 wounded since October 7th. In the latest report, it was revealed that three massacres were committed against families in Gaza in the past 24 hours, resulting in 40 deaths and 107 injuries.
