The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reaffirmed that it never leaves any attack on its targets unanswered, noting that "the enemy should expect carefully calculated responses at the appropriate time."

On Tuesday, the IRGC hinted that this response might differ from previous military operations, indicating that the scenarios for retaliation are not identical.

The IRGC added that time is in Iran’s favor, suggesting that the wait for a response could be lengthy, leaving multiple possibilities on the table.

Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that it does not seek to escalate tensions in the region and supports efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.

The ministry emphasized that the onus is on the U.S. administration to prove its commitment to halting the conflict and ending the war on Gaza.

The Foreign Ministry also welcomed any sincere efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and to put an end to what it described as the crimes of the occupying entity.

The ministry reiterated Iran’s "right to respond to any violation of our sovereignty, and we will do so at the appropriate time."
