Citizens in southern Amman have complained about a water shortage in their residential areas, with no supply for more than two months.

One resident from Thabit bin Khalid Street in Marj Al-Hamam reported that water hasn't reached his home since the Eid al-Adha holiday. He mentioned that he and other affected residents have repeatedly contacted the relevant authorities and filed numerous complaints.

The resident added that technicians from the water company "Miyahuna" have visited several times to assess the problem, but all promises to resolve the issue have fallen through.

Another resident from the same area told Roya that despite the prolonged outage, water bills remain unchanged, matching the amounts paid before the disruption. He noted that the situation has cost him over JD 150 in water tank deliveries so far.
