The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced today the death of three soldiers in the ongoing battles with Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.

Two of them were killed on Friday morning in an ambush by Al-Qassam Brigades in the Zeitoun neighborhood – after an explosive device was planted on the outside of a building they were searching.

Yesterday, an “Israeli” soldier was declared dead from the attack – raising the total death toll of the ambush to three.

Another soldier was killed in a clash in a nearby area on the same day.

The soldiers are identified as Sergeant First Class Danil Pechenyuk, aged 26, from the 6310th Reconnaissance Battalion

The second is Sergeant First Class Nitai Metodi, aged 23, from the 6310th Reconnaissance Battalion

The last is Sergeant Major Yaniv Itzhak Oren, aged 35, from the 8119th Battalion, "Jerusalem" Brigade (16th).
