The spokesperson for the Israeli Occupation army, Daniel Hagari, announced that most of the attack planned by Lebanon's Hezbollah was thwarted.

During a press conference on Sunday, Hagari said that the army detected Hezbollah’s preparations earlier in the day to target central and northern occupied territories.

He added that Hezbollah has demonstrated its intention to escalate tensions in the Middle East region. Despite this, the state of emergency in central occupied territories has been lifted, although restrictions in border settlements remain in place.

Hagari further mentioned that some of the internal front restrictions are still in effect in the northern and southern Golan Heights, as well as along the confrontation line.

He emphasized that a broader threat planned by Hezbollah was thwarted, and he reported that a residential building in Akka was damaged by shrapnel from rocket fire.

Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli Occupation military announced the launch of a large-scale preemptive operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, with over 40 airstrikes targeting the area.

In response, Hezbollah retaliated by firing numerous rockets at Israeli Occcupation military sites and Iron Dome defense systems in northern occupied Palestine.
