The Israeli Occupation aggression on Gaza continues for the 325th consecutive day, targeting various aspects of life by land, sea, and air.

The ongoing assault resulted in the deaths of 40,405 Palestinians, most of them children and women, and injuries to 93,468 others since October 7, 2024.

A delegation from Hamas and an “Israeli” negotiation team recently left Cairo after a round of talks aimed at achieving a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange.

These discussions, which began on Thursday, were mediated by the US, Egypt, and Qatar.

Hamas leader Osama Hamdan noted that “Israel” introduced new conditions for agreeing to the ceasefire and backtracked on previously accepted terms.

Hamdan added that the Hamas delegation communicated the movement's stance to the mediators, highlighting that “Israel” is discussing redeployment in the Philadelphi Corridor and proposing non-Palestinian management of the Rafah Border Crossing.

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan stated that the US is continuing its efforts in Cairo to broker a ceasefire agreement in Gaza. He expressed concern over the potential escalation of the conflict in the Middle East into a broader war.

Two Egyptian security sources reported on Sunday that the talks in Cairo concluded without an agreement.

The sources indicated that both “Israel” and Hamas were unable to agree on several solutions proposed by the mediators from Egypt, Qatar, and the US.
