The Traffic Patrol Department reported multiple traffic violations in the past 24 hours.

One of which was detecting a motorcycle speeding at 216km/h on the Amman Development Corridor on Wednesday.

Additionally, an unlicensed driver was apprehended within the Public Security Directorate’s (PSD) jurisdiction. The vehicle and driver were handed over to the relevant police station for legal action.

In another incident, the department also noted handling a serious collision in the past 24 hours between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Naour Road, resulting in a severe injury. The cause of the accident was attributed to tailgating.

Another collision occurred between two vehicles on the Zarqa-Jerash Road, leading to two moderate injuries.

The injured were taken to Zarqa Governmental Hospital, and the traffic impact was managed, with obstacles cleared from the road.

Furthermore, the Traffic Department recorded two violations for running red lights, a dangerous offense that threatens public safety.

They urged drivers to adhere strictly to traffic laws and priorities.
