Israeli Occupation's military actions in Gaza have resulted in extensive damage to the region's water infrastructure, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

The destruction includes the Canada Water reservoir in Rafah, which provided water for 150,000 people before being destroyed in late July, CNN reported.

The attack on this facility has left many Palestinians, including children, resorting to drinking from puddles and navigating through sewage.

The UN and other international organizations have condemned the targeting of water facilities, accusing Israeli Occupation of using water supply disruptions as a weapon of war.

The aggression on Gaza has left nearly 1.9 million people displaced, many of whom live in overcrowded camps with inadequate sanitation and water facilities. The lack of clean water and sanitation has led to increased disease risks and severe living conditions, with reports of children suffering from skin infections and families struggling with insufficient water supplies.
