The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday the martyrdom of a Palestinian who was shot by “Israeli” forces in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, which is now fully surrounded by the occupation forces.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has completely sealed off the eastern neighborhood in Jenin, preventing any movement of Palestinian residents.

Witnesses also confirmed that “Israeli” forces are blocking the exit of individuals with chronic and severe illnesses from the besieged neighborhood.

Sources noted that the IOF raided homes in the eastern neighborhood, forcing women to leave in ambulances and detaining children and young men.

They also pointed out that kidney dialysis patients in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin are being prevented from leaving their homes, posing a serious threat to their lives.

Residents of the eastern neighborhood have reported a severe shortage of food and water for thousands of Palestinians as the siege continues.
