The “Israeli” high school teachers strike will extend to tomorrow, Tuesday, which will mark the third day of the strike that began Sunday, at the first day of the new school year in the Israeli Occupation.

Negotiations were held with education and finance ministers, but there was “no progress on essential issues or economic issues,” per the statement by the Secondary Schools Teachers Association – cited by the “The Times of Israel”.

The strike calls for retroactive wage increases and benefits that were agreed upon last school year, but were delayed after the “Israeli” aggression on the Gaza Strip started.

The strike covers teachers of classes from 10 to 12th grade, with some 9th grade teachers also participating.
