The Israeli Occupation's assault on the Gaza Strip entered its 337th day, with ongoing airstrikes across various areas, causing more civilian casualties and injuries.

Alongside the violence in Gaza, new leaks have exposed severe abuses against Palestinian prisoners in “Israeli” military prisons.

The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz published leaked photos showing “Israeli” soldiers mistreating Palestinian prisoners in the security wing of Megiddo Prison, located in Marj Ibn Amir, inside the Green Line.

The photos show “Israeli” soldiers shackling Palestinian prisoners, with one prisoner stating, "They take us to places without cameras and beat us in sensitive areas."

The newspaper reported that the Israel Prison Service (IPS) considers these actions against Palestinian prisoners routine.

On the diplomatic front, Hebrew sources revealed that Washington is likely to delay its new proposal for a prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and “Israel”.

According to The New York Times (NYT), American officials stated that Hamas has recently added new demands for the release of captives, calling for the release of more Palestinian prisoners in the first phase of the agreement.

The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) confirmed ongoing efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which would involve deploying peacekeeping forces without American military participation.

Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh emphasized that the US is working intensively on this agreement, clarifying that it would include peacekeeping forces without direct US involvement.
