Director of the Karama Border Crossing police, Mustafa Dawabsheh, confirmed that the crossing will reopen for passenger traffic in both directions until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, while the commercial crossing remains closed.
The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that the Karama Border Crossing resumed operations for passengers after being closed for two days, and is now seeing a busy flow of travelers.
The crossing will be open only to passengers and will remain closed to commercial trucks.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Jordanian Public Security Directorate (PSD) reiterated that the King Hussein Bridge will reopen for travel on Tuesday at 8:00 AM, but will remain closed for cargo traffic.
The PSD urged travelers to follow the schedules and instructions to save time and effort.
