After the polling stations closed and vote counting began for the 2024 parliamentary elections, the Independent Election Commission (IEC) started publishing results for local and general constituencies in real time through a dedicated platform.

The IEC launched this platform to release election results as they become available, following the closing of polls at 7:00 PM and the start of the counting process.

IEC Chairman Musa Maaytah stated that around 515,000 expatriates could not vote, bringing the voter turnout to 36 percent. He confirmed that the total number of registered voters was 1,638,351.
