“Israeli” special forces raid Iranian chemical, missile facility in Syria: Reports

A number of unconfirmed reports cited by Hebrew media sat that “Israeli” special forces carried out a raid on a major Iranian weapons facility in the city of Maysaf in northwestern Syria.

Earlier on Sunday, a series of “Israeli” strikes hit sited in central Syria which killed at least 14 people and wounded 43.

Local sources reported at the time that strikes targeted a scientific research center in Maysaf, which is believed to be a manufacturing facility for chemical weapons and precision missiles.

Hebrew channel 12, said that strikes targeting roads were conducted to stop Syrian troops from reaching the area, before “Israeli” helicopters carrying special forces came into the area with air support from drones and military helicopters.

The report added that “Israeli” troops extracted equipment and documents from the site, before rigging the place with explosives to destroy it.
