The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said that a barrage of around 40 rockets were fired from Lebanon at the Galilee Panhandle and the Golan Heights.

The statement claimed that some rockets were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas. However, some of the rockets sparked fires in the open areas.

Hezbollah took responsibility for the attack, saying in a statement that its fighters launched a barrage of Katyusha rockets targeting the headquarters of Brigade 188.
