The Public Security Directorate's (PSD) spokesperson reported that a missing person's case was filed with the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Ruweished police station. An investigation team was assigned to track the case and search for the individual.

Through investigations and information gathering, the team discovered that the missing person's son had fatally stabbed him due to a dispute between them.

The son, with the help of a relative, buried the body in an attempt to conceal the crime, and then fled the scene.

The accomplice has been arrested, and the public prosecutor was notified. The body was recovered and transferred for forensic examination – according to the PSD’s statement.

Later in the day, authorities located the suspect in a neighborhood in the capital, where he was apprehended, and investigations are now underway.
