A man opened fire on his mother and two sisters following a family dispute inside their home in Ain Al-Basha on Wednesday. His mother and one of his sisters died shortly after, according to a statement by the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

The spokesperson said in a statement sent to Roya that the other sister was rushed to the hospital and is currently receiving treatment.

A criminal investigation team was assigned to track down the suspect, and he was located at a border crossing while attempting to flee the country.

The spokesperson confirmed that the suspect was arrested, and investigations are underway.

Yesterday, Roya's correspondent reported that the man shot and killed his mother and his 18-year-old sister at the family home in Ain Al-Basha, Balqa Governorate. The second sister, aged 24, was shot and is in critical condition.
