Hezbollah confirmed on Friday the deaths of two of its fighters in Lebanon.

In an official statement, the party reported that Hussein Hassan Fakih, known as "Sajid," born in 1996 in the town of Rab El-Thalathine in southern Lebanon, was martyred.

Ali Sobhi Mansour, known as "Karbala," was also martyred alongside Fakih. He was born in 1985 in the town of Taybeh in southern Lebanon.

This announcement follows a focused attack by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the southern suburbs of Beirut on the same day.

Hebrew media indicated that the strike targeted Ibrahim Aqil, a prominent member of Hezbollah's Jihad Council, who assumed leadership after the assassination of Fuad Shukr.
