The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that a group of individuals gathered in Petra District earlier Sunday and attempted to attack transport vehicles in the area.

The spokesperson added that the individuals threw stones at security forces, prompting them to respond with appropriate force.

The group was dispersed, several individuals were arrested, and investigations have been launched to prevent similar incidents in the future.
