Hezbollah senior official and second-in-command behind Secretary-General Hasan Nasrallah Naim Qassem, said today that the confrontation with “Israel” has entered a new phase.

At Ibrahim Aqil’s funeral, who was Hezbollah's elite unit commander and killed in a strike on Beirut last week, Qassem said that the “support front in Lebanon will continue, no matter how long it takes – until the war on Gaza stops.”

According to Qassem, Hezbollah will not decide how it will respond to the recent series of massive attacks by “Israel”, the latest of which was yesterday when the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) aircraft destroyed over a thousand Hezbollah rocket launchers.

He added that Hezbollah has started a new phase, which is an open-ended battle of reckoning” with the Israeli Occupation.
