Lebanon’s Hezbollah said today a rocket barrage was launched targeting an “Israeli” logistical warehouse of the 146th division at the Ramot Naftali military base located in the Upper Galilee, Northern Occupied Territories.

The group’s statement added that a rocket salvo also targeted the Kiryat Shmona settlement, situated near the Lebanese border.

This follows the early morning strikes, where Hezbollah launched a volley of long-range “Fadi-2” missiles, targeting the Megiddo Airfield, in addition to what it said was an explosives factory in the area of Zikhron, 60 kilometers away from the border with Lebanon.

As part of the recent escalations in Lebanon, Hebrew media said yesterday Hezbollah started using long-range rockets for the first time during this war, specifically since the cross-border fire started on Oct. 8.

The number of casualties from the Israeli Occupation aggression on Lebanon approached 500 martyrs and 1,645 others injured within just over 24 hours.

Among the victims are 35 children and 58 women, with hundreds more martyred and thousands injured.

Lebanese Health Minister Firas Al-Abyad stated in a press conference that the “Israeli” strikes have targeted hospitals, medical centers, and ambulances.

Additionally, Lebanese Education Minister Abbas Halabi announced the closure of schools and universities across the country today, Tuesday, while allowing educational institutions to provide shelter for those displaced by the bombardment.

Hebrew Channel 12 reported that “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed the security cabinet last night that military pressure on Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, could potentially lead to a prisoner exchange deal.

Netanyahu also emphasized that the primary objective of the occupation is to sever the connection between the front in Lebanon and Gaza.
