Lebanon's Prime Minister Najib Mikati released multiple statements on Saturday following the assassination of Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, and the escalation of the Israeli Occupation's aggression on Lebanon.

Mikati stated, "The government is doing everything it can to confront the Israeli war against our people, and our solidarity is the strongest response to the aggression."

He continued to say, "We reaffirm our commitment to international legitimacy and call for the implementation of Resolution 1701 and other relevant international resolutions."

"Starting today, we will take several measures to ease the pressure of displacement," he concluded.
