The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) released photos showing F-15i fighter jets taking off from Hatzerim Air Base to carry out the assassination of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Friday evening.

The images show the fighter jets –part of the ‘Israeli’ Air Force 69th squadron– loaded with bunker-buster bombs, which were dropped on Beirut's Southern Suburbs (Dahieh).

The bombs are 2,000-pound heavy, and can penetrate and strike targets dozens of meters underground.

According to an analyst cited by the New York Times, eight jets conducted the strike and at least 15 2,000-pound munitions with an American-made precision guidance system that attaches to bombs were used.
